Brickwork mason — Stewart County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Stewart County, Georgia. The job is at a residential building site. You will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off.
