Elevator technician — McCormick County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in McCormick County, South Carolina. Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Full-time with occasional weekends.
