Brick and block layer • Iron County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
