Formwork carpenter wanted in Albany County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Albany County, New York. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Day-to-day duties: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
