Now hiring: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Kenton County, Kentucky. You will be based on a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
