Horizontal milling machine operator — Broome County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Broome County, New York. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
