Gas service engineer — Tarauni

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Tarauni, Kano State. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
