CNC programmer-operator • San Juan County, Colorado

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in San Juan County, Colorado. You will work in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
