Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Whiteside County, Illinois. The job is on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
