Furnace operator — Takai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Takai, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand.
