Power press operator — Peoria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Peoria County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
