Tile installer — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
