Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Saint Joseph County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand 4+ years on the tools preferred.
