Formwork carpenter wanted in Nantucket County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will be based on a residential tower site. Your main tasks: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
