Excavator operator — Northampton County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Northampton County, Virginia. The role involves grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
