Offshore rigger • Cass County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cass County, Texas. You will be based at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Six days a week, one day off.
