Immediate opening: concrete worker (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in LaSalle County, Illinois. You will be based in a residential housing project. The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Full-time, day shift. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
