Sample machinist — Albany County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Albany County, Wyoming. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 2+ years on the tools preferred.
