Press operator — Orange County

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Orange County, New York. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
