Brickwork mason — Macoupin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Macoupin County, Illinois. You will work on a commercial construction site. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
