QC technician — Cullman County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC technician in Cullman County, Alabama. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Day-to-day duties: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing 3+ years on the tools preferred. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
