Commercial refrigeration engineer — Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Boone County, West Virginia. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. You should have: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
