Elevator technician — Prince William County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Prince William County, Virginia. The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
