Cake decorator — Lunenburg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Lunenburg County, Virginia. The job is at a busy bakery. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
