We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Thurston County, Nebraska. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
