On a typical shift you will bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits.
