Punch press operator — Galveston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Galveston County, Texas. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
