In-process quality controller — Menard County

Join our team: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Menard County, Illinois. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. You should have: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 5+ years on the tools preferred.
