Cnc turner — Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turner in Lake County, Indiana. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
