CO2 welder • Davidson County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Davidson County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
