Lift erector — Nicholas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 3+ years on the tools preferred.
