Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will work in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
