LV electrician — Stephenson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a LV electrician in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. Day-to-day duties: • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use 5+ years on the tools preferred.
