Punch press operator — Attala County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Attala County, Mississippi. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Six days a week, one day off. $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
