Formwork carpenter — Newberry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Newberry County, South Carolina. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Your main tasks: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
