Stitching operator wanted in Bibb County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Bibb County, Alabama. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
