Join our team: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will work at an open-cast mine. The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
