Brickwork mason — Gaston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will be based at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
