Shuttering fixer — Sarasota County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Sarasota County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
