Great opportunity: groundworker (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in York County, Virginia. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
