Now hiring: we are hiring a dough maker in Chickasaw County, Iowa. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
