Immediate opening: elevator service technician (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Walton County, Florida. You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
