Now hiring: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Hart County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
