Lathe programmer-operator • Clay County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Clay County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
