Urgent requirement: core maker (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Warwickshire, England. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
