Escalator technician — Madison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Madison County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
