Fire and safety officer • Ipokia, Ogun State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ipokia, Ogun State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions The role involves: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
