Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Washington County, Wisconsin. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 6+ years on the tools preferred.
