Dry lining plasterer — Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Knox County, Texas. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. On the job you will handle: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
