Elevator service technician — Meade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Meade County, South Dakota. You will be based in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
